The Covid Covers is a heart-warming project, to help Gloucestershire people come together through this unprecedented time to remember those loved, those lost, the unsung heroes, the NHS staff and all the amazing keyworkers working tirelessly to protect us across our county.  This project will collect your favourite lockdown tunes, song requests and stories, dedicated to anyone that needs to be remembered or reached out to during this time.   I will then create an album cover image for your chosen song, reinterpreting the song title during this unusual time.

People who would like a challenge or wish to get more creative can submit their own photographic or collage ‘cover’ image, depicting their chosen song using themselves, family members and household objects.

To take part please fill out the simple form below and your dedication and cover image will be posted onto the website, I will also send you the cover image if you put your email address in - REMEMBER to email your photo to me at thecovidcovers@gmail.com if you make one, please add your social media handles below so that we can let you know if your dedication will be played on BBC Radio Gloucestershire and on the special one-off show on deepbedradio.org

This project aims to connect people across Gloucestershire and further afield through music, art and photography to commemorate and remember those we have lost through these sad times and to celebrate the amazing community of people who have supported us, particularly the fantastic NHS staff and key workers, providing essential services during the pandemic.  This project has been made possible through funding received from Create Gloucestershire, Strike a Light and Cheltenham Festivals and was created by Soozy Roberts.
